06/04/2010 | There are many "Runway Magazines" on the Internet
The novel “The Devil Wears Prada”, by Lauren Weisberger, became a best seller shortly after its publication in 2003. This novel made very prominent use of the name “Runway Magazine”. In the story-line, “Runway Magazine” is a very high-end international Fashion magazine. No doubt, the “Runway Magazine” featured in the book and motion picture “The Devil Wears Prada”) contributed greatly to the international popularity of the name “Runway Magazine”. The popularity of the name “Runway Magazine” is especially visible on the Internet. There are many, many: websites, blogs, discussion groups, forums, etc, and even a Wikipedia webpage, making reference to the name “Runway Magazine”. Many of these references are not actually connected to the original novel or motion picture, but are actually related to the branding of independent products and/or services in the areas of Art, Fashion and Life-Style. Is it at all surprising to find Art, Fashion and Life-Style subject-matters in a publication (or on a website) that goes by the name “Runway Magazine” ? ___________________________________ DISCLAIMER
